First Mate's Log

Learning the One Piece Card Game in public, with a system.

If you're new here, start at step 1 and take it one rookie lesson at a time.

About me

I started playing recently, got beaten a lot, and realised that the notes I was keeping to stop repeating my own mistakes were more useful than most of what I could find online.

Everything here is written while I'm still learning rather than afterwards from a position of authority, which means you can follow the reasoning — including the parts that later turn out to be wrong — as I chart the card game one rookie lesson at a time.
